A Journey of discovery together through the Bible

Services

"All true obedience comes from the heart. It was heart work with Christ. And if we consent, He will so identify Himself with our thoughts and aims, so blend our hearts and minds into conformity to His will, that when obeying Him we shall be but carrying out our own impulses. The will, refined and sanctified, will find its highest delight in doing His service. When we know God as it is our privilege to know Him, our life will be a life of continual obedience. Through an appreciation of the character of Christ, through communion with God, sin will become hateful to us." Ellen G. White Desire of Ages, p. 668

We also follow the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:19 & 20

"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen."

Evangelistic Services

Evangelistic Services are conducted on Sunday nights. For 2013, the Church focus on the parables given by Jesus. Thus each week, various groups dramatized the parables. For 2014, small group (cell) will recommence. This is where worship is conducted in small groups in various homes. These groups include:

Prayer Services

"Prayer is the channel of communication between our souls and God. God speaks to us through His word; we respond to Him through our prayers, and He always listens to us. We cannot weary or burden Him by our frequent heart to heart communications". Ellen G. White Prayer, p. 1.

Our Church conducts Prayer Services on Wednesday nights. This is where we spend extra time communicating with our Heavenly Father, not just for ourselves but for our friends, families, community, country and world. "The Great Controversy" was the book of the year for Adventism in 2013, which was utilised during these services. "The Adventist Home" will be used for 2014.
